A letter, read by a fellow World War II veteran, from a 35 year old Lieutenant and school principal from Illinois who was stationed in England when he learned of the birth of his baby daughter on December 13, 1943. Recorded on Memorial Day, May 30, 2005, Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, CA.
